Discussion
Have everyone brainstorm the “major” blessings we tend to think of readily. This may include:
- Gospel
- Family
- Home
- Health
- Job
- Freedom
- Education
After the “easy” answers are discussed briefly, have each person take a turn naming something else they are grateful for and why.

Alison Moore Smith is a 60-year-old entrepreneur, who graduated from BYU in 1987. She has been (very happily) married to Samuel M. Smith for 39 years. They are parents of six incredible children and grandparents to two astounding grandsons.
Love it. Used it. More!
Great lesson and love the new look!
Why didn’t you tell me about this site? I need this!
Thank you, sisters! Nice to get some feedback.
I intend to include more of these in the future. Any other authors or reader are welcome to contribute FHE idea for publication. It would be fun to have a nice repository of simple FHE lessons with current resources.
Love these ideas. This are great ideas for any time!
So simple. Thanks! (Yeah, we sometimes have trouble naming the more obscure things as well.)
Kitty litter. I am thankful for kitty litter today. (How’s that?)
Thanks again. And happy Thanksgiving!
