Alison Moore Smith is a 61-year-old entrepreneur who graduated from BYU in 1987. She has been (very happily) married to Samuel M. Smith for 40 years. They are parents of six incredible children and grandparents to two astounding grandsons. She is the author of The 7 Success Habits of Homeschoolers.

    Heatherlady is not only a fantastic writer, she chooses subjects with substance and value. I love her posts on womanhood, especially her highly researched posts spotlighting each woman mentioned in the scriptures. If you haven’t read Women in the Scriptures you are missing a real treat.

    The Motherload is awesome! I love her one-liners (usually attached to some picture – kinda like “Here’s your sign”) and especially the awesome and stupid products. Sarah always makes me laugh!

      Wah! I’m trying to vet the new advertisers, but It’s different for everyone! I can’t see the advertisers, so I don’t know who to block. :/ And I can’t click on them to find out as it violates the advertising rules.

      If any of you see an inappropriate advertiser, please email who the advertiser is so I can block them. Sorry! New system!

    Seriously that add is awful. Of course, it doesn’t say who the advertiser is–it’s a mock facebook invite– but obviously not a real one–I’d go back to the “old” system.

      Is that a Utah joke??? 😉 Honestly, Ellen, I don’t know. I use a plugin for the polls. I assume it’s pulling the timezone from my WordPress general settings (which is set to UTC-6), which would be in Mountain Daylight Time. But there’s an off chance that it’s doing something else.

      If I notice that it’s gone past midnight MDT, I’ll stop it manually.
