Bowls are just bowls, until you see these. They are hand hammered metal, crystal, or ceramic bowls. And they sing! Hop over to the site and click on a given item. You'll see a close up image and hear a recording of it's song.
The one pictured is a palm-sized bowl with a golden copper patina. It comes with a wooden striker and it's own pillow! Just an example of what you can find.
I understand they are used for meditation and relaxation, but I like them for the cool factor.

It sounds unbelievable that bowls sing. But are they really for meditation? But how can you meditate with them?
I have no idea! I’m guessing you hit them with the striker, kind of like a gong, and then sit back and let the universe flow around you while lost in sound. 🙂 Did you listen to the recordings? Kind of like they way a crystal goblet sings.
I imagined my daughter eating from such bowls – I guess I will have no problems with her in this case.
By the way, it can be a good idea for those who would like to lose some weight – just install some disgusting music that will kill your appetite and here you are – you don’t want to eat anymore! What do you think about this idea?
