[While the rest of the family took our traditional trek to Salt Lake to attend the special Music and the Spoken Word with the Christmas mini-concert last Sunday, Caleb and I had a few hours of rare one-on-one time. This began with a special breakfast complete with a few segments of a fresh clementine. He preceded to remove the orange segments from his plate and push them with his index finger as far away from his plate as possible. A few minutes later as I ate some of them myself he brought up his concerns.]
Caleb (5): Mom, what are those?
Mom: Clementines.
Caleb: Why are you eating them?
Mom: They're yummy.
Caleb: I don't like them.
Mom: Why?
Caleb: Because they have poop in them.
Mom: What?
Caleb: Yup, they have poop in them and then they take it out and it goes down the toilet.
Mom: Caleb, clementines don't have poop in them. It's fruit that grows on trees, like apples and cherries.
Caleb: Yea, trees that grow from poop seeds.

HA! Oh, dear. I’ve been consuming them regularly since Thanksgiving.
LOLOL
That’s hysterical!! I got a pomegranate the other day that wasn’t so hot– I thought maybe it had been picked to early since it wasn’t as sweet as they usually are. But maybe it was a “poop” problem!!
