While informing commuters of the morning traffic conditions on KSFI FM 100 this week, Kristy Snow decided that she really, really knew her segment was true.
Listen to her major, Mormon oops!
Alison Moore Smith is a 61-year-old entrepreneur who graduated from BYU in 1987. She has been (very happily) married to Samuel M. Smith for 40 years. They are parents of six incredible children and grandparents to two astounding grandsons. She is the author of The 7 Success Habits of Homeschoolers.
ROTFL my head off . . . 😀
::heehee::
That is really funny! My dh had heard it before, but I hadn’t. My kids even thought it was funny!
Surely that wasn’t an actual “oops”, was it? Wasn’t she just trying to be funny?
Just a random thought, there is a “Try coffemate for free” ad on the left here, and it struck me as funny to see it on the Mormon Momma site. Just thought I would share that with ya :bigsmile:
Tracy, I understand that it was. (That would NOT have gone over well in Utah, otherwise.) I think she got caught in the “prayer mode” when she started commenting on the weather. When she went for being “grateful for the beautiful day” she was on autopilot.
Once I answered the phone with a prayer intro. One of my kids has, as well. Sheesh.
Yea, Lewis, depending on the words in a thread, sometimes the ads are pretty incongruous with the site. I’ve tried to block the ones that are offensive, so if you see one that is, just let me know the URL and I’ll try to remove it. The “Trucking Jokes” link always amuses me. I can’t figure out why that would seem to be a topic that applies to this message board!
Important info for Mormons! Can someone else try to sustain this because it doesn’t work fo me.
Ah, the postum leads us to coffe mate, it makes sense now 🙂
Sorry, I was just doing some backend editing and ran across this audio. I still laughed out loud. Maybe you will, too.
hee hee hee!!!! I had a nice little giggle!
and she had all 3 adults in our house rolling when we listened to that!!!
but……………honestly prayer might be necessary to get through traffic in Utah!
And how refreshing! To have radio personnel whose default mode is bearing witness! There are radio stations around here whose DJs have as their default mode a whole sewer system of mental muck. Kristy is a nice change.
Love that!! It IS fun to hear it again.
And davidson, I LOVE the “deault mode is bearing witness”!!
