I like it! very perceptive kid you got there!
It’s been more fun since he began insisting that he can say prayers all by himself.
He folds his arms across his chest, gives a knowing, closed-mouth smile, nods his head and says, “Yup, because I’m four. I’m a big boy.”
That’s too cute. My little guy turned 4 on Friday, and I heard his big brother (almost 6) tell him yesterday “now Jeff, you are 4 now, you can’t be acting like a baby. You have to listen to mommy now when she tells you to do stuff! Oh, and no whining either!” I know he didn’t know I was listening, because they were in their room, and I was in mine. I was thinking about it, and realized that shortly after Jay, my older son, turned 4, that was when he really started to help his sister and become more independant, making his own sandwiches, tidying his room. Lets hope it takes hold for Jeff too.
Jeff loves to give prayers, and even likes to give talks in Primary. Last month he dragged me up to bear his testimony: “Heavenly Father made us, and my daddy is really big and a cop!” It was too cute. He gets mad when he isn’t called on to do stuff in Primary. Plus he has all the girls in YW wrapped around his little finger.
I love this age!
Kids are so cute!
Kiar, chances are it will take hold for your 4-y-o – younger siblings love to imitate the “big kid” stuff their older sibs can do! Usually that’s a good thing… 😉
No this is my favorite.
