Mom: OK.
Alana: But I never wanted to be the white parent because that would be lame.
Alison Moore Smith is a 61-year-old entrepreneur who graduated from BYU in 1987. She has been (very happily) married to Samuel M. Smith for 40 years. They are parents of six incredible children and grandparents to two astounding grandsons. She is the author of The 7 Success Habits of Homeschoolers.
Hahahaha! That is rad.
And all these years I didn’t realize how lame I was!
I think that’s funny. My sister-in-law is married to a black man, and they have BEAUTIFUL children. I was worried our kids would never be as cute. But don’t worry, they are 🙂
Heidi, you crack me up. I’m glad your kids are also cute.
I have to admit, there is often something about mixing races that seems to, as they say, accentuate the positive. Of course, as the pasty Irish girl I’ve always been jealous of anyone who has melanin. :/
