It's finally a reality, a homeschoolers dream come true! Although I don't really love to travel — I love my dream home! — there is nothing more educational than taking your children to see the world. No book, no unit study, no internet site beats hands-on education.
After much consideration, we finally dove in and booked a three-month, round-the-world trip for all eight of us. And we did it without breaking the bank! Here's how we did it.
- Inherited a bunch of money from a long-lost relative.
- Called a travel agent and said, “The sky's the limit!”
We're so excited to go. Join us!
Happy April 1st.
I’m going with you for sure. I’m taking my siblings and their families. My treat!
We signed up, too! Thanks for the heads up! 😀
Wow. I’m slow today. Really slow. hahaha
Well you got me, but now I’m on alert and my kids won’t be able to fool me.

wow, lucky you! you’re right, letting your kids see the world will be a fantastic eye opener for them and will surely benefit them when they come back and see the different ways their own culture sees things. I hope you have a great time!
Andy, you need to focus on that very last line. The one in bold print. 🙂
oh wow, that is the first time I have been caught on an April fools for over 20 years. well done you, I’m even blushing!
Heh heh. 😀

I was going to say, “TAKE ME!!” Then I saw your last sentence. That was a good one and looks like you tricked a couple readers 🙂 So if this was reality, where would you want to go? I would love to go to Figi or somewhere exotic like that.
Aw, how disappointing I was looking forward to reading your story from the headline on the home page.
But you didn’t fool me because it is May 22nd! 🙂
This would be a wonderful way to teach children though, great idea.
Hi Alison, you’re blessed to experience something like this. Hope you enjoyed it!
Thanks, Mark. I suggest you read posts before commenting. In my experience it works better that way. 😉
