Five window wells were installed today. Brad got some great prices for us. He found one, very deep window well that was damaged on the bottom, so he bought it for half price and cut off the damage for the size we needed. Then the supply store gave him the rest at damaged prices. Woot for bargain shopping!
We used metal window wells with white interiors. The two on the front are for the garage windows and will be covered on the front exposure by plants. We'll leave those as is. Two more are in the theater and the other in the laundry room. We'll be purchasing window well covers for those that make them look much like the fiberglass wells with simulated rock. It makes them look a little nicer and a bit less industrial from the inside.

Alison,
Be sure your builder installs a drain in the bottom of the window wells. Be sure it’s connected to the foundation drains. The drains often get left out and never thought of again until the window well floods and enters the house.
Good luck!
