Now that we are preparing to move into our own digs—finally—we're reconsidering our television choices. After a year using Utopia—instead of a local TV satellite system—we're ready to get back to satellite. All year the signal we've had was lousy, the picture quality spotty, the recording unpredictable. To top it off, the hardware was unintuitive and poorly designed.
In making our decision we found a number of offers, such as those on localtv-satellite.com, which offers five months of the Premier Package free with the order of a sports package on DirectTV. There's no reason to sign up for a service without a special promotional offer, since they are readily available.
We haven't decided between Dish and DirectTV in the new house. But if you're looking for new service or wanted to switch from your current service, check out the great offers that abound on the internet.
