Day five of our pre-program was yesterday. Potluck around here isn't known for it's healthy fare. But I got up and made a slightly modified version of Kristi's favorite salad. I didn't have any Newman's dressing, so I took fat free Italian.

When we got to the dinner, it was just as bad as I imagined. Tortilla chips with 7-layer-bean dip. White rolls with cold cuts. Mint brownies. And an eye-popping pan of homemade cinnamon rolls.

I piled my plate—twice—with the salad and drank a bunch of water. And I survived.

Did I mention that all my muscle soreness vanished over the weekend? I think I can take on another week!
