I love Pier 1 Imports. Period. After having been in the store as a teenager, I didn't go back for years. Then, just a few years ago I dropped by while killing some time waiting for a restaurant reservation. Wow, was I surprised. It wasn't at all what I remembered. Not only full compliment of cool furnishings and home goods, but filled with great prices!
Now that we are decorating our new home, I'm finding all sorts of beautiful textiles. They have gorgeous pillows to pile on your bed or couch. They have wonderful rugs. Most of the area rugs I can find are either oriental rugs (which I don't care for) or ultra-modern, geometric, hippie rugs (which I care for even less). But Pier 1 has florals, patterns, paisleys, and more in colors a range of beautiful colors. I love the Floral Tufted Sunset and the Floral Creme Rug. (OK, yes, I like colorful florals!)
Pier 1 also carries furniture (we have a number of their interesting bedroom desk chairs), candles, linens, and dinnerware, great for holiday entertaining. Best of all, they have seasonal holiday offerings that are fun and affordable. Check out their array of amazing Christmas ornaments! There is something fun to match the interests of everyone on your Christmas list, in fine detail.
Check out Pier 1 this holiday season. Make you home merry and complete your Christmas list in one stop.

We don’t have Pier 1 in the U.K, Least not anywhere I have been to. Such a shame, could really do with a low cost but good quality home furnishing store.
