There's something to be said for comfort food. My sweet mom served us up this version of sloppy joes my whole life.
I realize I am not a qualified food photographer. This photo doesn't look terribly appetizing. But, trust me, these are tasty. Simple, quick, warm, and yummy.
Ingredients
- 1 lb extra lean ground beef
- 1/2 C ketchup
- 1 T prepared mustard
- 1 can condensed chicken gumbo soup
Instructions
- Brown ground beef.
- Add remaining ingredients and simmer until hot.
- Serve on whole wheat buns, brown rice, or whole wheat pasta.
