Today the crew poured the large front porch. There are also two stoops, one for the front door and one for the office door.
There will be a few steps from the front walk to the porch. We want to minimize those at it makes access more difficult.
There was a problem with the front edge. Seems like the forms came off too soon, as they were trying to finish it and some fell off. They were working on it when we went over there.
You can see how wide it is from the photo. It will be covered with two craftsman-style pillars in front and a low bench rail around. Flowers and/or bushes will be planted around the sides.
Can't wait to get some chairs or maybe a porch swing to enjoy the beautiful mountain view!
