You all know I don't yet have the physical program in my hands. But I read online that Live the Life expects you to start by drinking two liters of water a day and work up to four.
Four liters?
That's about a gallon. Of water. A day.
A couple of years ago, I purchased a two quart water bottle with a squirt top. The idea was to fill it each morning, sip it all day, and consume it before bedtime. That, I'm thinking, would be a lot of water. But I've rarely been able to drink it all because it's just so darn much water. I'm floating, bloating, and camping next the bathroom. Seriously, I had to stop right there and go!
While I can throw out the excuse that I didn't even know of this requirement when I started, I still have to say I haven't followed this part of the plan. I forget to do it, and when I remember I can only take so much. To top it off (no pun intended), the water isn't great here, so it kind of gives me a queazy feeling to drink a ton.
But day five was the day of hydration. I drank it all. I don't feel so well, but I'm hanging my hope on what Kristi said about increased water revving up your metabolism. If that works, it will be worth it.
