I love the weeks of circuit training. That is how I've always done strength training because it speeds up the workout. Sitting around waiting for the next set is even more boring than doing the set itself. But to go from Week 4 and the easy, breezy circuit to Week 5, was a pain I didn't see coming.
Week 5 (days 1 and 4) are killers. You not only increase reps (from a minimum of 8 to 15) but almost double the number of total exercises. I was sore again for the first time since that first pre-week. I felt blind-sided.
Mostly, I just do not have that much time to workout. I know that if I work out an hour and a half every day I'll get in shape. I know! But I'm not a gym rat. And I really don't want to spend that much time pumping iron.
