We've kept up with the exercise plan every single day. No fudging. Today was the closest we've been to following the diet without variance.
The hard thing for us is the timing. We rarely get up at 6:00, so by the time we drink the shake, do our workout, and get ready for “second breakfast—amid laundry and kids and work—it's almost noon. So we're left either trying to cram the rest of the meals in, skipping them all together, or kind of merging them into fewer meals.
I understand the principle of keeping the high-quality fuel going in steadily during the day, but when the last meal is scheduled at 7:00 pm, getting a late start seems to blow the day. And when there are so many meals, I find it hard to stop to go eat so often.
When I get the book, I'll probably understand how better to modify. But for today, we did a pretty good job of being spot on.
