Over the past couple of weeks I've received a number of emails asking when we are going to move in. All I can say is that I wish I knew! After moving out of the rental, we've just been hanging around my dad's house with minimal supplies trying to keep our lives in order living out of suit cases.
Unfortunately, there is still a lot to be done. Lots of tiny items that are keeping us from moving in. We don't have a time table and can't seem to get anyone to commit to one. (Given that we were originally told a May move in date, the hesitancy—nearly five months late—isn't surprising.) I'm hoping this week. But, then again, I was hoping last week, too. And the week before. And the week before.
So now, when asked when we will move in (which happens multiple times every week), I just say, “When it's done.”

So, when are you moving in?
Just kidding.
It’s been more than a week since you posted this. Still haven’t seen a post about moving. It’s time for heads to roll!
