Our new, craftsman-style front doors were installed this morning. Both doors are on the porch; one is the main door, the other the office door. They were custom made to our specifications by Meadow Wood Custom Doors and are absolutely gorgeous!
Both doors features a dark stain with light distressing. The main door also has a dentil shelf, windows, sidelights, and a large transom — all with a beautiful seedy rokoko glass. The glass looks like a bubbly rice paper and is opaque enough for privacy, but still brings in lots of light.
Because of the thick, concrete panel walls, the jambs are very wide. I love the substantial look they lend to all the doors and windows. It gives an old world look to the rooms.
I could not be more pleased with the look of these doors. Working with Meadow Wood was a pleasure. They worked with me on price and were happy to modify the look exactly as we liked. I highly recommend them for your next custom door!
Those doors are really beautiful. I am amazed. I am sure they will add lots of value and beauty to your home. Well done.
Oh my goodness Alison! Those are GORGEOUS!!!
Oh, thank you so much ladies! I love them, too. I’m so happy with the result.
Very nice door! Wish we had a local supplier of that quality near us.

Thanks, Todd.
For the record, I know that Meadow Woods recently completed a large order for a customer in Florida. Of course, shipping adds to the price, but their craftsmanship is available elsewhere.
My wife fell in love with your doors and brought me to the computer. I guess I know where we are getting our doors.
Nice doors. We will be at the door stage probably in September. I’m bookmarking this page and they are definitely on my list.
This is just what I’ve been looking for! Beautiful. I hope you don’t mind if I copy your design. I live in Provo, so no one will ever guess. 🙂
Hope you all can get just what you want, like we did. They are great to work with.
Funny story: a couple of days ago I called Meadow Woods to get them to come drill the knob holes in the side door. Strangely, their number popped up on my iPhone with a different name attached: Saddleriver Outfitters.
I could not have been more shocked and later compared the numbers. It turns out that Meadow Wood used to be Saddleriver. And Saddleriver is the company that made the custom door for our last house! Hah!
We loved our last door and wanted to use the same company, but could not find Saddleriver. Or at least we didn’t think we could. Apparently we found them after all. Double good review with two great doors!
what are the rough in dimensions of the front entrance door with the windows , cost and how long would it take to get it to turpin oklahoma
Kevin, this is something you’d need to contact the company about. 🙂 We are still loving our door and get tons of compliments on it!

Do you happen to know what color of stain they used on the door?
I chose the color, but I don’t recall. It’s been eight years since we built! If I come across it, I will add the comment below.
