If it's about organization, I'm all over it. And with the information era has come a barrage of incoming stuff to organize. It can be overwhelming.

This week I found a great (and free!) online organizing tool called clipix. I signed up for an account to try it out. You simply drag a link into your browser's bookmark bar and then, when you come across something on the internet you want to remember, you click the link. An image and link back then appear on your clipixnbsp;page.

In no time, you can have a wall full of things you want to remember. Here's how mine started out:

There are so many possibilities for how to use this nifty tool. You can group related ideas or pages together so you can come back later without having to look up all the links again. It's a great project management tool.

You can use clipx to organize the ideas you have for any project, such as:

  • Birthday parties
  • Family reunions
  • Book clubs
  • Recipes or menus
  • Home decorating
  • Vacations
  • Date night ideas
  • Christmas or holiday wish lists
  • Wedding plans
  • Field trips
  • Family outings

There is an iPhone app so you can always have your lists accessible…and you can take photos and add them to your clipix clipboards!

Because you can select who sees each list, the possibilities are even greater. You can keep your family's Christmas gift list private, but broadcast your birthday wish list to all your FaceBook friends.

Try out clipix and let me know what you organized with it!
