I'm not trying to gross you all out. Honest. But ever since we moved to Florida (in 1991) I got this yucky foot problem. My feet got all peely and rough and cracked. The heels were just awful, snagging my pantyhose and scratching my poor husband at night. (Do not go there.)

I tried all sorts of things: soaks, creams, constant sock-wearing, and endless buffing and filing. Any positive effect was gone in a day or two. After years, I gave up and decided that was just the way my feet were going to be.

A few weeks ago, I saw a really tacky, disgusting commercial for a new foot fix. Because it was inexpensive, I decided to give it a try. Honestly, I can't believe the results.

PedEgg is a goofy, little plastic…ahem…cheese grater-like tool, with a holder for the shavings. OK, now don't get grossed out on me. (Trust me, the visual in the commercial is even worse.) It is what it is. But it works.

You rub the grater over your rough skin. It doesn't hurt (the skin is dead) and it comes off quickly and easily. Then you use a little file (that is included, free) to do the final smoothing.

Some offers include a tube of Miracle Foot Repair. Mine did not, so I can't personally recommend it. But I really love Mycocide Antimicrobial Callus Exfoliator.

Using the PedEgg for a couple of minutes each week, along with a slather of exfoliator cream, has left me with normal, smooth feet for the first time in nearly two decades.

Two toes up for this product!

One note of caution: Do not order this product from the company's web site or their 800 number. I tried to do so at Christmas. They send you through a mystifying morass of voice jail, with multiple upsells with unclear terms and they overcharge. Instead, I suggest you buy through this distributor.
