Given the number of times Walgreens has saved our backsides, I should have learned my lesson. But I didn't.
I can't even count the number of times I've had an emergency resolved by the local Walgreens store in my adult life. Late at night, early in the morning, over the weekend—whenever we get sick—Walgreens is open and ready to get us the prescriptions or other medical supplies we need. But they are good for so much more.
In Easter of 2002, marshmallow peeps were in short supply. I do not know why this happened, but as Easter approached and I searched the store, my peeps options were down to nothing. Then I happened upon a Walgreens ad that saved the day. Peeps in every festive shape and every (pastel) color of the rainbow. That's the day I decided I love Walgreens.
Right now they are offering a discount on annual memberships for the Prescription Savings Club at Walgreens. A family membership is only $35 per year and covers you, your spouse, and your dependents 25 and under. And, yes, it even covers pets. The individual plan is only $20.
Friend Walgreens on Facebook and follow Walgreens on Twitter. You can keep up with the latest specials and promotions.

I am glad that your peeps have been saved by Walgreen’s peeps! :^)
