I will probably only be live blogging on Sunday. Please feel free to add your thoughts and comments.
Elder Holland is out with Covid. (Love Elder Holland.) A number of months ago he mentioned suffering from neuropathy. (I didn't hear more than the mention.) There is a known link between neuropathy and the Covid vax. Unfortunately, it doesn't prevent infection or transmission. I hope he recovers from both, soon, and can return to preaching.

Please no. Please not the “modest swimsuit” thing. The guy is ogling women's BODIES and commenting to strangers about the attractiveness of their BODIES whilst discussing the woman's swimsuit choice. Please, please stop this.
BTW, yes, I wear what would be considered modest swimsuits by LDS typical LDS standards. (Likely the one and only ever swimsuit pic of me you will ever see on the internet.)

Emily Belle Freeman will be the new Young Women General President in August. I have followed her since one of my daughters introduced me to her and to Inklings Institute about three years ago. She is lovely and so bright and insightful. What a wonderful thing!

Unity – one Lord, one faith, one baptism
BH Roberts – what was he supposed to “repent” of? Why were the slights he received “perceived” but the offenses he gave, real? Why don't we acknowledge that both sides gave real offense AND both sides participated in contention?
This is honestly the issue that causes the division.
After the talks yesterday with regard to fallible leadership, why do we now insist that yielding to church “authority” is the same as yielding to God. They are not the same.
Camille N. Johnson
Burdens of living in a mortal word. Relief provided often through covenant members of the church.
Everlasting relief offered by atonement.
Ulisses Soares
I just realized he does not use an initial. hehhh
Palm Sunday – peace to survive the commotion of these days
Cease to contend, cease to speak evil of one another
Charity – the pure love of Christ
Without charity we are nothing. Loving, patient, kind way to deal with fellow man.
Gossip. Social media encourages this in the name of “transparency.”
13th article of faith
Resist urge to take offense. Forgiveness.

Not to map out your life or answer all your questions. Not all will be fulfilled in this life. Not all blessings are named in blessings.
Blessings will have different meanings at different times in our lives.
Neil L. Andersen
Acting in faith on truth and by power and grace from God, Alma was saved.
More consciously shape, strengthen, and secure — I cannot follow this sentence — Jesus?
Jesus is never in a forgotten corner.
Spirit child of Heavenly PARENTS, your own individual identity existed long before earth.
What would God have us do and become?
Do we need cancer stories? Please, for the love, do you know how many thousands of people listening are currently fighting cancer, with young families? It is NOT uplifting to hear about how another young parent DIED. Please don't do this in CONFERENCE, when the weight of this is so heavy and your authoritative words seem patronizing. Can't you think of any other way to express this? Maybe without mentioning a particular disease? Anything?
Well, look! These people just went over to the temple hours after their wife/mom died. Awesome.
Yes, it's personal.
Kevin R. Duncan
Don't take glorious eternal truths for granted.
“Families are sealed to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ forever, in the temple.”
I think I got the quote right. Unsure what this means. Unsure where/if Heavenly Mother is anywhere in the picture.
Russell M. Nelson
Condemn malign villify anger contention
Eager to damage another’s reputation
And “contention is evil.â€
How do you manage serious issues when you have no voice? If you speak, you are called “contentious.†If you speak louder, it’s worse.
Satan’s playbook
Victory for Satan?
Confrontation never resolves differences
Ignoring them doesn’t either.
How to resolve without confronting?
How do you manage serious issues when you have no voice? If you speak, you are called “contentious.†If you speak louder, it’s worse. Dignified dialogue with no equal standing …

I am the resurrection and the life.

This sounds like a Thomas Monson story. (Or is he repeating it? I missed the first bit…)

Love that we've been studying the ministry and miracles of Jesus in CFM this year. What a good time for Easter to come!

Point our children with doubts to Christ, who is our true advocate.

We know Christ if we keep his commandments.
Russell M. Nelson
I like his tie. Gold with red flecks.
Because of Christ we can repent. Because of him, each of us will be resurrected.
Study the Saviors appearance to the Americas.
O all ye that are spared because ye were more righteous than they, will ye not now return unto me, and repent of your sins, and be converted, that I may heal you?
Yea, verily I say unto you, if ye will come unto me ye shall have eternal life. Behold, mine arm of mercy is extended towards you, and whosoever will come, him will I receive; and blessed are those who come unto me.

I like that Elder Gong suggested Young Women/Young Men be ministering companions to us oldies. I’m a terrible solo ministering Sister, and miss having a “Visiting Teacher” companion to keep me motivated.
Yes! That’s how it always was for Young Men with home teaching. I think it’s a great thing to extend.
Have you typically not had a ministering companion? I have always had one assigned (and I know the Tools app is set up to allow that) but, to be honest, we rarely go together. I think it’s only happened once (maybe twice?) since the assignments changed.

Neil L. Anderson reference to Alma’s situation being comatose for three days, but being mentally able to contemplate things during that time, was emphasizing “Caught hold upon”, meaning reaching out mentally and/or physically to something to grab onto. Alma grabbed onto Christ, asked for forgiveness, was forgiven and revived, and it changed his life. Our spirit receives confirming witness.
Great insight. Elder Corbitt’s statement to point to Christ as the true advocate aligns nicely.

I liked Pres. Nelson’s comment that we celebrate Christmas BECAUSE OF Easter! That Easter is the most important celebration for followers of Christ. People put so much importance on Christmas, even keeping Christmas decorations up all year, and Easter/Resurrection Day is often just an afterthought. A few years ago I bought a silver charm of the empty tomb saying He Is Risen on it, to wear as a necklace while other people are wearing their crosses. I was hoping someone would ask me about it, but no one did, and I misplaced it… (It really bothers me to see crucifixes with an agonized Christ on them, as though he was left there rather than being resurrected)
Your email “reply” arrived this morning, but there was no comment… ???
How rude of WordPress to glitch! My response just said:
