Promotional Materials for Business

Promotional MaterialsIf you have a business, a blog, or are working on your muse and need an easy way to spread the word, promotional materials can be a cost effective way to get the word out.

Promotion items are things like tee-shirts, pens, keychains, cloths bags, magnets, personalized pencils, or just about anything else you can think of with your company logo and contact information printed on them.

The best way to make promotional items worth their cost, is to provide something that people will want to keep around. Given the limited printing space available on most such items, adding a logo and a website URL are effective ways to allow individuals to find out and contact your company.

Such items can be used for blog or other website promotion, small business promotion, real estate marketing, or about any other kind of marketing that has a general audience in a place you can easily distribute them. I just got back from running and I’m wearing a promotional tee-shirt that was handed to me while attending a parade. I have three magnets on the file cabinet by my desk, one from a garden center, another from my credit union, and a third from another local dentist. Two of our most successful promotion giveaways for our network router business have been Post-It style memo pads and Aerobie style flying rings.

If you’re interested in this kind of fun business promotion, do a web search for promotional items. You can conveniently order these things online at places like AmsterdamPrinting.com or other reputable sources. Also, check the yellow pages for local vendors that can provide great, long-term service.

I like the frisbee idea! No one will throw away a frisbee. 🙂 The thing I hate is the cheap junk pens people give out. They never work well and just scream “I’m a cheapskate and my products are junk like this pen!”

These are the simple and but nice and lively tips. I usually try to issue some diaries and pens and even some small bags with the logo of the company. In fact, we shouldn’t forget about the traditional ways of promotion which are still effective.

Everyone loves free stuff. It’s just the budget that you have to make sure you can fix in. Now that society is using the internet for pretty much everything, promoting yourself on Facebook and Twitter are 2 great online networking sites that will help that!
I went to a job fair couple months ago, and one company had reusable bags as freebees. Smart because we all use them and they were promoting to be eco-green!

These promos are a great idea to give a good impression and giving a little something for them to always use and see your business name whenever they use them! Like Stephanie mentioned, social networking sites are another great way to promoting your business since everything is becoming viral. I also think a catching name and presentation is important at these vendor shows. Btw, how did you get this blog name?
