Mouse Repellent

It’s not that women are really afraid of mice. The stereotypical wailing woman on the chair screeching for her husband to save her are a little unfair. The problem with mice is that they are small enough to get almost anywhere, but large enough to startle the beejeebers out of you when the pop out of nowhere into your face.

The jump factor aside, there are few things more nauseating than discovering that rodents have been crawling on your eating utensils. Augh!

Fortunately, we don’t have mice in our new home. In Florida, bugs were the constant battle. But we lived in one rental house that had quite an infestation. That is a really nasty thing to deal with day in and day out.

We “solved” the problem by sealing up every crack and crevice in the entire house —seriously, their was a nest of the vile creatures in the jetted tub lining — and by using some super-toxic crumbly cake things in places that we hoped no one would see or touch them. But the solution wasn’t ideal.

Today I learned about a great alternative rodent control product series. Victor® has a full line of products that will safely help you solve your mouse problem. Unlike my under-the-refrigerator mouse treats, there products are completely non-toxic and safe for both kids and pets.

How do they do it? They use a combination of electronic repellents and traps. It’s gentler than killing the animal, safer than spreading poison around, and you don’t have dead mouse bodies to dispose of! And, for the record, the sounds emitted can’t be heard by humans or dogs and cats. (If you have pet mice, rats, or other rodents, this is not a good choice!)

Right now Victor® is running a special promotion. You can get the whole Protect Your Space Combo Kit for $99.99 with free shipping. The kit includes:

  • 1 Victor® Sonic PestChaser® Heavy Duty Sonic
  • 1 Victor® Sonic Mini PestChaser® Ultrasonic Rodent Repellent
  • 2 Victor® Electronic Mouse Trap

Check it out to solve your mouse in the house problems!

It may sound strange but I need this thing. I prefer staying away from any powders and poisons. But repellent … Why not? We have mosquito and mouse repellent, why not against mice? I’m interested, thanks.
