Money Blogs

Money BlogSince 1994, I’ve been making money online. From my first, fledgling website — that comprised a catalog of educational items I offered to homeschoolers and other parent — to my latest venture — a blogging network focusing on making money with blogs — the internet provides a world of monetizing opportunities.

The best thing about the internet is how it acts to level the playing field.

My first paper catalog was printed on my laser printer and hand bound with a long-arm stapler. Then I attached labels and stamps and mailed them. Yes, I’m serious.

Eventually I worked up to doing the layout myself, sending files to a local company that printed the catlog newsprint using a web press. Then I hand-collated the catalogs by zip code and manually created the bundles for bulk mailing.

Then my nine-year fascination with the new-fangled internet took hold and I learned to code websites myself. Soon my catalog was online and I was taking phone and email orders by credit card. It was so much easier, more accessible — and less expensive — and opened my little company up to myriad opportunities to compete with the “big boys” in my marketing niche.

I’m always looking for new opportunities to make money online from reputable companies. Rather than focus on just one idea, I use many venues to bring multiple streams of income. Today I learned about a pay per click agency that is new to me. BizzClick is on my list of potential money making opportunities.

There are two different models that can be used in the pay per click (PPC) world; you are either an advertiser or a publisher. An advertiser is someone who has a business and wants to let others know about their product or service — and is willing to pay for the service. A publisher is the one who has a website or other medium through which to send that advertising to viewers and potential customers — and wants to be paid for providing the service.

As a blog owner, you can monetize your traffic by advertising on your site for these companies. PPC is a simple and often profitable money stream.

BizzClick offers:

  • 24/7 pro support
  • Personal managers for each client
  • Tools for ad campaign creation
  • Fast feeds
  • An internal traffic ranking system
  • A loyalty program
  • BizzClick community

If you’re looking to make money on your blog, check out BizzClick and see if it’s a good fit for your online business.

Eva, I’m hoping to get a workshop put together in February. Still working on the details. I’ve added you to my contact list.

Also, on March 10, I’ll be speaking on Monetizing Your Blog at the Story@Home conference on Temple Square in Salt Lake City, Utah. It will be a very abbreviated version of the workshop.

I quite agree with you that PPC is an excellent way to make money. I have several websites that rely on that method to generate income. The more targeted and focused your site is, the more focused the ads and the higher the click rate.

I’m not familiar with BizzClick however, but will take a look at it based on your information.

Gotta disagree with you there, CTM. Sure commenters like dofollow, but most people don’t know whether a site is dofollow or nofollow anyway. As for instant approve, no way. You might have noticed that your comment was held for moderation and this blog is a great moneymaker. 🙂

    Thanks for dropping by!
