Holiday Travel Discounts Are Not Science Fiction

I married a geek. Or is it a nerd? I can never remember. One of them is supposed to be cool and the other one not so much. My husband is definitely on the cool end of science genius.

My dad also has a scientific PhD. And my brother-in-law. My sister, a master’s degree. Our family dinners are, shall we say, cerebral. My house is overrun with books — although Sam can only be held responsible for about half of them — and all manner of scientific resources.

If you’re also a techno buff, check out the science and technology news on SciTech Daily. You can get your morning (or evening) fix whenever you need it! Today’s offerings include: info about self-cleaning glass; evidence of water found on Mars; studies investigating cancer-inducing lifestyles; the ability of Europa (Jupiter’s ice moon) to support life; a medicine that kills HIV; the largest black hole ever discovered; and on and on.

The company recently branched out and began offering travel coupons on their site. Currently they list specific Expedia coupons and Travelocity coupons, with detailed information about destinations and services.

Holiday travel can be a bear. Everyone seems to want to “hurry home for Christmas,” so flights are full and hotels are booked.

The holidays are coming and some trips will only make the holidays much better and they will make them more exciting and remembering.

My biggest problem is that my wife is a nerd and coupon geek. During shopping I tend to shut down at just go with the flow. Works for me 🙂

Wow, your family is very amazing and really intelligent. This holiday season lots of tourist spots will be full and last month some of the regular costumers are already booked there spots for Christmas Holiday. My brother can’t get home for now because of fully booked flights.

I can identify with the family dinner scenario. No one in my family has a PHD, but we used to sit around the dinner table after we were done eating and talk world events and politics. That’s how I learned to debate.
