Daily Goal Christmas Advent Calendar

If you’re looking for a more involved advent calendar this Christmas, this one is perfect. Each day there is a passage of scripture that reviews the Savior’s mission. This is followed by a related song or hymn. Then there is a suggestion of something to do that will help you draw closer to the Lord.

Great family or personal exercise that will help bring meaning and peace this holiday season.

Oh Come All Ye Faithful

Share a scripture about the Savior with a family member or friend.

December 2

Mosiah 3: 5–6, 8–10

I Believe In Christ

Make a decoration that will remind you of the Savior and His mission.

December 3

Luke 17:12,14,15,17

Count Your Blessings

In one of your prayers today, give thanks for all the blessings you can think of, do not ask for anything.

December 4

Tell Me the Stories of Jesus

Write your testimony in scriptures and give them away.

The Lord Is My Light

Look up at the heavens and think about who made the sun, moon, and stars record your feelings in your journal.

Try to be as kind as possible to others today.

Foster peace on earth by not quarreling with your family or friends.

Consider what gift you could give the Savior and determine to give it all year long.

Your goal today and for the rest of your life is to read and enjoy the word of God as found in the Holy Scriptures. Give yourself a gift that fills every day of your life with the real spirit of Christmas.
