I have chronically cold feet. I'm talking seriously cold, ice cube cold, shock your husband when you get into bed cold. Cold.
And it doesn't matter what I do, they stay icy. Until I press them firmly against Sam's calves and force him to endure the pain of warming my feet so that I can finally go to sleep. Because his calves are chronically warm and an adoring husband will do all sorts of painful things to bring comfort and joy to their wives.
For Christmas, Sam gave me (and possibly himself, as well) the best ever gift. He found me two pairs of snuggly, cozy, incredibly toasty warm Acorn Versa Socks. These babies are made from Polartec fleece. You know, polar as in the arctic and tech as in the best keep-you-warm technology on the planet. They are serious socks for serious feet. And they have kept my feet seriously warm since Christmas morning.
Sam will have to figure out another way to prove his undying love for me. My feet will never be cold again.
Honestly Alison, I think that it’s now up to you to find a way to show your undying love for your husband, after all your cold feet are forever in his debt. ๐
BTW, thanks so much for leaving a comment on my blog. ๐

Brilliant socks Alison – but don’t they have hot water bottles in your neck of the woods ?!
Happy New Years to you and the no-longer-suffering Sam !
Will
Sire, I’ve got that covered. ๐
Will, who needs hot water bottles when you have a hot husband?
